NSW Area Health Services
The management, administration and provision of health care in NSW is divided into a number of 'Area Health Services'. The types of service available for people with eating problems varies across each Area Health Service - some are comprehensively resourced and others have few targeted services. Each area's Mental Health Service is responsible for providing, or arranging access to, appropriate services for people who have eating disorders. Ideally, these services are located in close proximity to where the consumer lives. However, this is not always the case.
